Creative agency services
What are creative agency services?
Our creative agency services give you a thought partner, a strategic buddy, a jill of all trades.
Most authors never get access to an Art Director or Creative Director - the senior creative roles agencies reserve for their biggest clients. We can bring that to you, specifically applied to the two places it matters most: your cover
and your creative presence.
COVER ART DIRECTION

PARATEXT
noun: the elements outside of text that contribute and construct meaning or
context for what is being read (i.e. a book cover)
Your cover is the first marketing decision you make and one of the most expensive to get wrong.
Paratext is cover art direction for romance authors. Brief development, feedback rounds, market context. So you’re not guessing, your designer isn’t guessing, and your cover is actually speaking to the readers you wrote the book for.

FOLIO
noun: an individual, unbound sheet of paper, manuscript, or print that is kept separate from a bound book, usually stored inside a protective sleeve, folder, or box (or…maybe online)
You don’t need to become a marketing & branding expert. You need someone who already is one.
Folio is ongoing brand strategy and creative direction for romance authors - a monthly retainer that gives you a strategic partner who knows the community, moves with it, and keeps your presence consistent and intentional. Someone to bounce ideas off, think through what’s next, brief and guide the creatives you’re working with, and make sure everything on your feed is actually serving your book.
-
With the monthly retainer, you receive:
Brand kit development (for book(s) and artistic direction alignment (one-time onboarding)
Brand strategy including content pillars and marketing plan
Briefing for all creatives (character artists, cover artists, content creators, etc) and feedback on final files - working in tandem with you and anyone else on your team, including PAs
Social performance check-ins and engagement flagging
Email access for strategy questions and ideation
-
$450 USD per month, taxes included
